TOKYO AUTO SALON 2006 FEATURE From OPTION / JDM-OPTION [2006.01]

		This is the latest version of the F-Con, called the F-Con iS. The unit can be directly linked to the stock ECU by using a coupler harness. The latest CPU that exists in the F-Con iS is 25% faster in processing information and the data can be displayed on any in-car TV screen. With the optional OSC unit installed, further manufacturer ECU settings can be overwritten. This is the optional OSC unit. The vehicles that are available on the market these days are programmed to reapply the manufacturer set data back to the ECU no matter what kind of tuning was performed. With this new product, the F-Con iS is able to send the A/F and ignition data to the stock ECU with no problems.

LA Clutch MSRP: 128,000 yen (available in Feb, 2006) LA stands for light action. Basically, this clutch feels just like a soft stock clutch. However, it can hold up to 450 horsepower with this single disk component, and is planned to be released for applications such as Lancer Evo and Imprezas.		VAC MSRP: 80,000 yen (available in Feb, 2006) The newer model Toyotas with a 6 speed automatic transmission these days have a separate computer that controls its shifting and limits how fast the vehicle moves. With the VAC, the stock AT computer can be over ridden, and eliminate the limiter all in one.

Special Turbo System GT3037S MSRP:650,000 (Available in April, 2005) This bolt on turbo kit for the Z33 can add an additional 100 horsepower above stock, and can put out more than 500 horses. A GT3037S turbo, intercooler, oil pan, and a catalytic converter are included in the kit.		Special Turbo System GT-ZZ Twin MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) This turbo kit utilizes two GT-ZZ turbos. The best feature of this setup is that a very flat torque curve can be experienced from the low end. This is a perfect match for the VQ35 engine.

Forged Piston Kit MSRP: TBD (Available in Spring, 2006) I Beam Connecting Rods MSRP: TBD (Available in Spring, 2006) Metal Head Gaskets MSRP: 35,000 yen (Available in February, 2006) Since it is structurally impossible to decrease the compression by simply swapping a head gasket on a VQ35 engine, the forged pistons do the trick at dropping the compression to 9.0:1. Additionally with the I beam connecting rods and the metal headgasket installed, the engine can support 500 horses.		ES Premium MSRP: Starting at 48,000 yen (Available from February, 2006) The sporty and tough image of the HKS line of mufflers is evident in this newly released design. The best part of this muffler is that the welding is hidden from the exterior. The ES Premium is pronounced espremium.

		By simply plugging the unit into the diagnosis harness of the vehicle, such data from the vehicle speed, water temp, and even injector jet rates can be displayed on the wireless monitor. An AV terminal and a 100v line are present to connect a VCR or a video game console. It is very much like Blitz to include a useful feature such as this. By plugging in the wires to the given terminal, the video and the audio can be displayed straight on the monitor.

R-VIT I-Color MSRP: 41,790 yen (Available in April, 2006) The popular R-VIT unit has come back with a full color version. This time, the unit can be linked to the CAN system available on vehicles such as Toyota. Fuel intake and fans can be regulated with this devise.		i - BURNER SPARK LIGHT MSRP:TBD (reference exhibit) By switching to this high intensity LED kit on the position lamp, the strobe light effect can be set off with a single button. The speed of the flash, intervals, and other lights can be set off.

i - Engine MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) Still in its development stage, Blitz is producing a highly efficient piggyback ECU system. The piggyback will serve manage the engine controls as well as connect to a nearby PC or laptop via wireless connection.

		By connecting this device to the diagnosis port on your vehicle, valuable data such as velocity, engine revolution, air intake temperature just to name a few. A built in datalogger can be a useful function for tuning. Used as an addition to the regular gauges, this Greddy Infometer has a very unique design. The exterior shell can be changed out to 9 different color themes, 18 different wallpapers, and 6 different button lighting options can be applied.

GReddy Supercharger Kit MSRP: 417,900 yen This bolt on kit can create up to 78 horsepower on a stock engine. The supercharger develops power from the lower rpm range and provides instant boost anywhere. With 0.6 bar of boost, 243.9 horsepower was created in our vehicle.		Carbon Fiber Air Diversion Plate Kevlar MSRP: 23,000 yen Carbon Fiber/Silver Carbon MSRP: 18,000 yen The popular air diversion plates are now released in carbon fiber. These plates redirect air to the radiator for an increased cooling effect.

Silent Force Revolution K MSRP: TBD (Available in February, 2006) TRUST added their new line of the Silent Force Exhaust systems to the K-Car class (ultra compact) vehicles. These exhausts constructed of stainless steel are available on the market in the beginning of February.

		Power Enterprise decided to add to their product line an IHI turbo that was engineered for F1 racing. IHI started off by developing turbines for diesel applications, coming a long way to engineering turbos for race applications. The compressor blades constructed for the F1 cars are built using a time consuming process called lost wax casting. These turbos built in extreme precision are bragged to provide power from the low to high rpm range.

Tested for many hours, the strength of this product is close to flawless.		Twist Roots Type Supercharger MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) This new product features the best aspects of the Roots and the Lysholm type superchargers. The unit uses a pressure type actuator switch, for smooth operation.

This is a eye catcher when the door is opened.		ORC PRO CARBON NEW MSRP: Single starting at 157,500 yen / Twin starting at 225,750 yen Compared to a regular clutch, a carbon clutch needed plenty of breaking in. The new ORC 2006 model clutches do not. As soon as these are installed, a full throttle runs are absolutely fine.

RAYS Volk Racing GTS MSRP: TBD (Available in Spring, 2006) This rim exhibits a race inspired design. By using a forging method and making the outer rim lighter, they succeeded in decreasing the weight the center axis produces by centrifugal force. The spokes firmly hold the wheel in place and brings out the best features of the center component.

RAYS Ionic Plating Treatment MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) The Gram Light wheels come with an excellent stainless shine. A titanium polish with a rainbow tint can be achieved now with a process called ionic plating. This might be Volk's new method!		BBS RG-H (tentative) MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) This new design was made off 5 V shaped spokes fused with 2 straight spokes. BBS has been known to produce mostly mesh type designs, but this new creation fits their product line very well. Although this rim may look new, it's obvious that this is one of BBS's style of brand.

M's NEW INTAKE SYSTEM MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) This system injects a cold mist into the intake manifold and increasing the power of the engine. A component is installed into the intake piping that injects a fine gas into the engine assembly.		Project Mu Rear Dual Brake System MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) This unique product is a 4 piston caliper setup, enabling the use of two pads, one for the foot brake and the other for the E brake. With this setup, upgrading the rear rotors to a larger unit is a much easier task.

Project Mu Brake Caliper Digital Cell Motor MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) By drilling a small hole into a set of any brake calipers, this sensor can be used to monitor the temperature in real time. The brake temps can be even checked while driving so problems such as overheating and vapor lock can be detected early.		Yokohama Tires AVS MODEL T5 MSRP: TBD (reference exhibit) This 5 spoke (or rather 10?) wheel was designed with sophistication in mind. The design was emphasized on comfort than a pure race look for the streets.

ENKEI Racing GTC01 MSRP: TBD (Available in Summer, 2006) Enkei had engineered these rims based off the data they had gathered from their Fairlady Z that competes in the Super GT races. The key feature is the special design that firmly holds the tire in place.		DUNLOP DIREZZA 03G MSRP: open (Available in March, 2006) The multi-tread profile tire firmly place the tread contact to the ground with these new tires. 4 types of tires are expected to be released, Gymkana S1, M1, Time Attack R1, and Circuit Racing H1.
